Dear Lizzie Ann

I now take the pleasure of writing a few lines to you, hoping that you are quite well, and so glad to know that baby is much better and hoping that he will be pretty well now. May God bless my dear little grandson. Also remember us to David and Johnny. Tell Johnny that I am so glad to hear that he is going on with his practice on the organ, so he will become useful in the Chapel in his musical capacity. It is a great gift which has been given him. I hope he will be very obedient and try to use that great gift to the glory of God and to help his fellow man. That is, our example, is a great thing in helping forward our Lord's Kingdom in the World.

We are spending a very quiet Sunday. We have a good preacher - a Mr Morris of Dolgelly. It is rather cold here today. Mamma had a little rheumatism and cramp in her legs last night, but she is pretty well on the whole. Dear Lizzie I have not much news this time. May God bless you and keep you for his name sake.

From your loving Father and Mother and sister Frances. They will write again.

M & E and Fr Lewis.
