My dear Lizzie

Thank you so much for the beautiful present which you have so kindly sent me, I shall value my pretty frames always, as coming from one of the most faithful members of the 'Young Women's Christian Association' at Machynlleth - and one whom I have always been interested in.

I was in London for a short visit about a week ago and thought of you often and wanted so much to come and see you in your own home, but it was quite impossible for me to manage it - much as I should have liked to.

I was sorry to hear a little while ago from your mother that you had not been well - but I hope you are quite strong again by this. We are so glad to hear that you have such a happy home - and are helping each other heavenward and upward I trust.

You must think of me on the 13 July - my wedding day. We are all going to be very brave so as to help each other, but I am afraid it will be a little difficult. Mr Edwards and I hope to go to Switzerland for our honeymoon, and I am looking forward to that so much. You remember Mselle. Gsall our old Governess don't you? I think we shall see her, and that will be such a pleasure.

With our united kindest remembrances to your husband and yourself, and again thanking you dear Lizzie for the lovely frames, but I am sorry that you should have sent me so much.

Think of me always as your sincere friend

Nellie Foulkes-Jones
