Dear Lizzie Ann,
We received your letter. Very glad to hear from you. Sorry to hear that your mistress is so ill, which adds a good deal to your work. We hope you are able to keep up. We are all pretty well. On Sunday next we have to bid goodbye to Mrs Williams the Post - she is going to Aberystwyth to live. Mr Williams is Postmaster there now, so you see that the English Chapel is having a great loss. But we must hope for the best and try to live as Mrs Williams has lived amongst us - she is a great Christian woman. So dear, you see that we must all live and walk by faith in Jesus Christ every day. Dear Lizzie Ann - pray much every day. So I have not much of what they call news to tell you this time.
From your dear Father and all the rest.
