To: Lizzie Ann

From: Her father (Maurice Lewis)

(Undated, but probably Sun 28 Jun 1896, as the visit of the Prince and Princess of Wales was 25-27 June in that year.)

Dear Lizzie Ann,

I write these few lines to you hoping you are quite well and I hope that you are comfortable. I am very well but very tired after a very hard week and we had a very grand week of it. We have seen the Prince and Princess of Wales and the town full of people and very fine weather, and also very lucky there was no one hurt. Dear Lizzie Ann I hope you are able by the grace of God to walk by faith and cheered every day by the promises of God. My dear I have not much to say more to you. From your loving father Maurice Lewis .
