Dear Lizzie Ann, David and all the children
Hoping that you are all pretty well as we are fairly well today. It's rather a rainy day here. We had a letter from Johnny. He seems to be poor enough and cannot get away to some institution. We hope that he will get better soon or we do not know what will become of him. This is his affliction and it's a sorrow to us all. In the word we shall have tribulations but in me ye shall have peace for I have overcome the world.
Our preacher today is the Corris minister. Very good. The text was Hebrews first chapter and the first two verses. The Sunday school no. 101. Mrs Jones (Cambrian House) died yesterday. The funeral of E. F. Jones (Bodlondeb) is tomorrow (Monday). Coming from Llandudno by 1.15 train and then they go straight to the cemetery. The poor old Mother. May God keep her.
So no more at present from dear Parents, Sister & Alun
