April 13th 1913 Dear Lizzie Ann, David and all the children

Just a word to say that we are all pretty well today. Alun is quite well and been to Sunday school and had a ticket. Our school no. 103. Hoping that you are all pretty well and that baby is much better. It's a very fine day here. Our preacher is a student, Mr Sandys, very good. The text was the first chapter in John Gospel, 41 & 42 verses: Andrew inviting his brother Simon to Jesus. He gave us some everyday thoughts of what we could do if we wished. We have every blessing today to make us good and happy if we wished.

Well my dear I hope that you have had some privilege this day. We see that Zacchaeus made an effort to get up into a sycamore tree to see Jesus and he was not disappointed and it may be the same with us, therefore labour on. May God keep you.

So no more at present from dear Father & Mother, Sister & son.
