Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, Davy & baby
We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are pretty well as we are at present. Glyn is alright. Our school no. 94. Mr David is with us today and he is not very well these days. It is sacrament tonight and the verse is examine yourselves and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup, and by doing this ye do show the Lord's death till he come. The Lord is coming. Blessed is he that is ready.
We have had a very memorable instance of is coming this last week in our town. On last Friday morning Mrs Capt. Roberts that used to live in Tanrallf, you know the old Tan house. She was found dead in the house about 10 o'clock in the morning having had a stroke, and Captain Roberts was away at the Van mines by Llandiloes. It was a great shock to everybody, and this is it - and they that were ready went into the marriage. This is going on continually in the world. May the Lord make us ready when he comes.
So I have no more to tell you now. With our very best love to all.
