Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, Davy & baby
We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all pretty well after the very hard weather that we have had. Frances has a bad cold and swollen face but not much pain. Mamma is pretty well, they both have colds. I keep pretty well from cold myself. Our school no. 92. Mr Davies (Pastor) is preacher. It's a nice calm day. We have sacrament tonight.
Hoping dear that you are able to receive some pleasure and joy in your heart on this day. How near God can come his people. Betherh..ius [?] and the angel in the temple answering said unto him - I am Gabriel which stands in the presence of God and am sent unto thee to speak and to show thee these glad tidings. How near God can come, Praise his name for this. So we conclude with our best love to you all.
