Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, Davy & baby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well. The weather is rather cold here. We are all pretty well today. Frances is very busy with her different parties, singing, preparing for Christmas and New Year's parties. Poor Mr Evan Jones (Bookseller) died on Tuesday night and was buried yesterday. A very large funeral. And also Willie Lewis that was with John Davies the Painter died on Friday night after a short illness. So you see that our friends and neighbours are taken away and this his a warning to us all. So we see that the scripture admonition is ever true. 'be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think not the son man cometh'.

Mr Davies is our preacher today. Sunday school 84. Hoping dear that you are able to gather some good this day. The Apostle John said 'I was in the spirit on the Lords day' and he saw great things although he was a prisoner in the isle of Patmas.

We wish you all a very Happy Christmas. May God bless you all. Amen. Our very best love to you all.

From Father, Mother & Sister.
