Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, little David & babby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us pretty well at present. Poor Mrs Evan Jones of London was buried yesterday. She had a very respectable funeral. Poor thing, she had suffered much but we feel assured that she has gone to that country where pain and suffering are done away. For he that dies believing dies safely in their Lord. Our school no. 83.

The preacher today is Dr Osmond Williams of Cashia Hills [=Khasia Hills]. He does not preach much but he gives an account of the people in their mode of worship there which is very interesting to listen to. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann that you have been able to receive some blessing which the Lords day brings with it.

So we conclude with our very best love to all. From Father, Mother, & Sister M, E, Fr Children X X X
