Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, little Davy & baby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping you are all quite well as we both are pretty well at present. Very glad to receive your letter this morning and to see that the box went alright. Hoping that you have enjoyed the contents pretty well, and what you want shall be sent tomorrow. Also we are going to send the machine to Johnny this week. Mr Griffiths sent the post card.

The school no. 97. Mr Davies is our preacher. Hoping that you are all able to spend this Sunday with some amount of pleasure. Mamma is going to Chapel so you see that we are very good people. With our very kind love to all.
