Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona & little David

We take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us all pretty well at present. Poor Vaughan Owen had a blood vessel to break last night, about 12 o’clock, but he is as well as can be expected. We have Mr Davies today preaching. You will see the text and as well as I could catch of the sermon. It’s a very fine day. School no.81. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann that you are able to pass this day pretty well. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas.

On Saturday I was thinking much on these lines ‘it never was thus and prayed that thou shouldst lead me on’. May God bless you all. Evan Roberts is very likely to come to Machynlleth in a short time. He is on the coast now.

So I conclude with very best love to all.
