Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona & little David

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we are all pretty well at present. Frances is very well & Mamma is amongst the middlings. I am quite well myself. We hope dear Lizzie Ann that you are able to get on pretty well, but you have full your hands I am sure. May the Lord help you.

Our School no. 99 and very pleasant. I have written a little of what I heard this morning. I was kept awake even to do this much. Ede. Edwards is remembering to you very much. So I have no more at present to tell you. Frances will give you more news. Tell the children to very good and to help Mamma all they can.

With our very best love to all.
