Dear Miss Lewis

A Concert is in course of arrangements to be held in the Village Hall, Caersws, the last Friday in October which is the 27th. The Village Hall Committee have asked me to arrange and organise the whole affair; and obtain singers. They have voted a certain sum of money towards paying and defraying the expenses of same. Now will you come here for the same fee as I paid you to come to Caersws a little over a year ago – 10/- and your expenses. Kindly let me know by return so that I may write elsewhere if in case you don’t accept. I intend working up a first class Concert, and my thoughts ran to you as one that had given me satisfaction at Caersws, to again give you an opportunity of appearing before a Caersws and district audience. Kindly you will accept my offer and in due course merit my approval.

Yours respectfully

Jno Meirion Evans
