Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona and babby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we are pretty well at present. Very sorry they did not write to you last week but Frances was in bed all day on Friday with a very bad bilious attack, but she is alright now. They will write to you tomorrow.

Our School no. 99 and we have a very good preacher today the Rev. Wynne Thomas (Aberystwyth). I was able to write down a little of his sermon. Hoping that there may be some word or thought beneficial to you. There is to be large Conference with the Wesleyans here this week so our Town will be very lively for this week, and there will be a great deal of preaching of the word of God, that word which is able to save the soul and our hope is that it may be preached in the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost. Amen. So you shall know more through their letters tomorrow. With our very best love to you all.
