Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona and babby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us all pretty well at present. We have no preacher today. We had a prayer meeting this morning, these are the names of who took part: Geo. Caffery, Mrs Ravencroft, Rich. Jones, Ede. Edwards, Mr Burbidge. Mrs Jenkins (the Bank) put a hymn out to finish. It was a very good meeting. Our School was very good, 97 in number. Mr Arthur (the Star Stores) is our Superintendent.

Tonight we are having a service of song and Mamma is coming, so you see we shall have good singing. You remember Margaret Ellis down street (the shop)? Poor thing, she was buried on Thursday. They brought her corpse from London you know. She was married about two years ago to a Mr Jones.

Mrs Jones D??? has been to Egh??? and Pennal last week, but there is not much said about the meetings. So I have not much news to tell you more. Tell J.M & Lona to be very good children. With our very best love to you all.
