Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona and little David

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all well. Glad to have the Post Card. We are all pretty well at present. It is rather rough weather here today. We have a very pleasant Sunday in Chapel, Mr Edwards as you see. Hoping that you will be able to read something that I have put down. School no. 96.

Poor J Fr Roberts the old Minister died on Saturday morning at 8 o’clock. He was lodging with Miss Jones (Corner Shop). So dear Lizzie Ann we have not much news this time. May God bless you all and be with you all. Amen. Tell the children to be very good.
