Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona and baby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we are pretty well at present. Mamma is going to Chapel tonight. It’s a very fine day, rather cold. There are many people suffering from colds but we are all pretty well from that now. Hoping that you all will keep pretty well. Our School no. was 102.

I enjoyed my class very well. With ten of us it requires one to be pretty sharp at work to keep them all interested in the work. I feel the very important position that I have and also praying for grace and wisdom to try to do a little good to the young men. Hoping dear that you are able to have some times of refreshing from his presence. Excuse my short letter. Tell J.M & Lona to be very good children. Best love to David. Our very best love to all.
