Sunday – Christmas Day – December 25 1904

Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona and little baby

We take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well and that baby is better. Hoping that you have spent a very happy Christmas day. It is very quiet here excepting that the revival – the Town is lively with prayer meetings in every Chapel. Last Sunday was a remarkable day. In every place they were praying. There is a lot of young men from the South. They kept a meeting by the Tower until a late hour. These things make such a change in the Town, but there is not so much joining the Churches as yet. Our School no. 91. It is easy to teach a class in the Sunday School now the young men seem eager to reason in the scriptures. We ought to bless God for this.

Mamma and Frances are pretty well. So I have not much news to tell you at present. A Merry Christmas to David and J.M & Lona. No more at present. With our best love to you all.

From Father, Mother & Frances
