Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona & little David
We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us all pretty well at present. It is snow and frost here today. Mamma and Frances are sorry that they have not sent to you last Friday, but it was so very wet here. I am very well myself now. I have had a very bad cold but I am much better now.
It is our School outing today. You remember how it used to be. We have had two meetings, very enjoyable, a very nice spirit pervading the whole. We have had a letter and parcel from Uncle Sam from Johannesburg. He is remembering to you.
So no more at present. Frances will tell you more. With best love to all from
Father, Mother & sister.
