Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, little David, Frances

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all pretty well. So sorry to see that Francey has had neuralgia so very bad, hoping that the swelling is gone down much by today and that she has had no pain. Mamma was glad that Francey did not start home like that, and she may be able to help you a little bit this week before she comes. Sorry that you cannot spare one of the children to come with her, but John must go to school or else he will not be a scholar.

Our Sunday school no 93. I could not go to Chapel this morning therefore I have not broken sermon to send you. I enjoyed myself in my class in the School. We have a copy of a Harvest Thanksgiving service. Mr Burbidge is enquiring much when is Miss Lewis coming home, it's a very nice performance Miss Susie Jenkins playing the organ - a horrible noise. Mr J Evans - Llandiloes is our preacher. So glad to see that the babby is much better. Tell JM and Lona to be very good children. Best love to David. So we have not much news more to tell you this time. Mamma is pretty well, not going to Chapel today, it's very hot here at times. We had a storm of rain yesterday about 2 o'clock.

May God bless you all and be with you. So no more at present. With very best love to all from Father & Mother, M & E Lewis.
