Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM, Lona, little David & Frances

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all pretty well. So glad to see that the children are better. We hope that they will keep so now. I enclose a letter from Johnny to Frances. Sorry to see that he has not been very well of late but he says that he is better. It appears that did not know that Frances was in Birmingham. We have sent a line to him today.

I enclose you the papers of the sermon this morning, if you will be able to understand some of it. It was a very blessed Service. This morning the preacher was Rev. Martin Luther Phillips of Swansea. Mamma is pretty well. I am quite well myself. School no. 96. So I have not much news to tell you this time. May the Lord be with you all. Amen. From your Father & Mother, M & E Lewis.

With very best love to children X X X
