Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & baby

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we are all pretty well at present. Lona is quite well and enjoys herself very much. All people look and admire her saying what a pretty child she is, and she is a very good girl too. She was in Chapel this morning and in School, helping to make the number 110.

Our preacher today is the Rev. Ernest Jones of Dolgelly. Very good. Text - 7th chapter Luke, 47 verse - 'wherefore I say unto thee her sins which are many are forgiven her three things: a sinner, a self-righteous Pharisee, a Saviour'. Mr Jones made many very good remarks but I have not time now to write them down. Very glad to receive your letter. Tell JM to be a very good boy.

Next Thursday we have an Induction meeting of our new Minister at half past seven, and then a tea and coffee supper after. It will save us taking supper at home that night. It's a very fine day here. Hoping dear Lizzie that you are able to enjoy this Sabbath day with some amount of pleasure and good to your own soul. May God be with you all. Amen.

So no more at present. With very best love to all from Father, Mother, Sister and Lona.

Mr and Mrs Hughes are in Manchester for a few days. They have seen Lona.
