Dear Mamma, Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We take the pleasure of writing these few lines you hoping that you are all pretty well. So glad to have a letter yesterday morning and to see that Mamma is keeping up and also to see dear Lizzie Ann that you are getting around so well and that baby is coming on. How does JM & Lona like the baby? The children are sometimes rather cross with a new comer. It's a very fine day here and everything very pleasant.

We have no preacher today. Prayer meeting this morning, a service of song tonight. School no. 97. Frances has come alright again, had a very bad week with neuralgia but we hope that it as gone for ever. The election yesterday - Lord Henry & J Parsons for the South, & John Thomas & Humphrey for the North. I am so glad dear Lizzie Ann that you are getting so well. May we believe that the Lord is very merciful and gracious to you and to us all, and that Mamma is so well to help you a little. May God be with you all till we meet again. Frances send her very best love to you all. Tell the children to be very good. Best love to David. I hope the eggs arrive safe. Write soon.

From Father & Daughter M & Fr Lewis.

Our very best love to you all.
