Dear Wife, Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that Mamma is pretty well and that you dear Lizzie Ann are getting on very well and the dear little baby. I feel thankful to Almighty God for your deliverance this time again. He is merciful and gracious especially to those that put their trust in him. Frances has had a very sharp touch of neuralgia from Friday till last night but she is better today. Mrs Humphreys sent her a bit of nice dinner today and that cheered her up a good deal.

It is raining heavily here now. Our School no. 87 today, Rees (Aberystwyth) – text: Romans, 1st chapter, 3 & 4th verses – he dwells much on the glorious hope of all believers through the resurrection of Christ. We hope that you are able to spend this Sabbath day with that rest that it always brings with it. Tell JM & Lona to be very good children. Frances does not go out today. She will write to you in the week. Best love to David. So I have not much news to tell you more. Hoping that with care and the blessing of God you will recover soon, and Mamma keeping pretty well.

With our very best love to you all.

From Father & Daughter M & Fr Lewis
