Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that they will find you all quite well as we are at present. Frances is better and Mamma is pretty well. She is going to Chapel tonight. Our services are made up in this way today like a school meeting - we have no preacher. The little children were catechized in the stepping stone. Maggie Owen repeated the 14 chapter John very well indeed and then Rich Jones read a paper on the observance of the Sabbath. It was a very good one. The afternoon meeting was our school, short, and Mr Rowlands questioned on two chapters 16 & 17 of Acts - very good. Miss Reen repeated the 6th chapter Matthew - very good, and tonight Fred Bagley (London House) will repeat the 14 chapter of Acts, and then we have a service of song from our Festival Book and Frances sings a solo.

Poor old Mr Lloyd of the Lion died after a week's illness. I am sure David as seen him. Our school no. 91 - it's very fine weather today and everything is being very pleasing, paise the Lord. Tell the dear children to be very good. I try to remember you all twice a day. May the love of God be with you. I hope dear that you have been to the Torry[?] meetings. So I have no more at present. With very best love to you all.

From Father & Mother & Frances
