Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that they will find you in good health as we are pretty well at present. Very glad to receive your kind letter and to see that you are all pretty well. Also glad to see that David has been to the Torry meetings. It must be a very affecting sight and to hear the singing by such a number of choristers. No doubt there will be very great and good results, many turned from darkness to light.

We have a very nice Sunday. Mr Parry (Newtown) preached this morning. Text was last chapter Matthew, last verse – ‘and how I am with you always unto the end of the world’. It was so plain. If I can copy it plain I will send it to you in the week. Our School no. 101 and everything very pleasant.

Tell JM & Lona to be very good children, I am very thankful to David for the text on Monday night. So I have not much more to tell you this time. With our very best love to you all.
