Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us all at present. It’s a very frosty day here and cold, but we are having a very nice Sunday. A very good preacher, a student. The text was in Genesis about Enoch walking with God, and he made some very nice remarks. He said that Enoch walked so closely with God that he was translated and did not see death although he lived 600 years after the fall of Adam and in such a dark age. We see here that God came down to man to walk with man but we see that God did not show his face until his son came. Under the old dispensation when God came down he made the mountains to shake. The preacher was very pressing to all those that had professed Christ to do so today.

Our School no 102 and were very happy. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann that you were able to have some spiritual enjoyment to your soul. Tell JM & Lona to be very good children. Taid and Nain and Francey are thinking much about them so we have not much news to tell you this time. Wishing you the peace of God which passeth all understanding. Amen.

So we conclude with our very best love from Father, Mother & Frances.
