Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing few lines to you hoping that they will find you all quite well as we are all pretty well today. Hoping that the dear children have recovered from their coughs, all the busy work is done now so that when you come dear Lizzie Ann you will see that the place looks pretty well. Shall we see you in a fortnight?

Our preacher today is Rev. R. Edwards (Cemmaes). The text was first Epistle of John, 2nd chapter, 15 to 17th verses – ‘love not the world, nor the things that are in the world’. He gave several nice illustrations on the point. When you come home I can tell you them. Well dear Lizzie Ann, there is great preparation in the town because all the non-conformist Sunday schools are going to Pwllheli tomorrow (Monday). Frances will be going with our School. The no. in School today was 96. I enjoyed it very much. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann & David that you have been enabled to worship with your dear children, with God’s blessing your efforts.

Mrs Foulkes is at home. You will have a chance to see her. Vaughan Owen was very thankful to you for your kind remembrance to him. He does not mend very fast. Tell David that they buried poor Lewis Watkin last week. So I have not much more to tell you at this time.

With very best love from Father, Mother & Sister.
