Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

I take the pleasure of writing few lines to you hoping that they will find you all pretty well as it leaves us at present. Dear Lizzie Ann it has been very rough weather here last week. It is raining today. Mamma is coming to Chapel tonight. Frances has got alright again. There seems to be little change for the better in Mr V Owen. Of course he's been very ill and weak but we hope we may see him in the Chapel again. Mr Williams is preacher today. Text was St John, 16th chapter, 7th verse. I enjoyed the sermon very well and I was busy trying to write down as much as I could. It certainly helps a poor preacher. At any rate I don't sit as a critic.

The school no. 81. Give our very best love to David, J.M. and Lona. May the Lord be very near you hoping that you find much consolation in an old verse. So I have not much news this time.

From your dear Father, Mother & Sister M, E & F
