Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that they will find you all quite well as we are all pretty well at present. Mamma is keeping up very well after coming back and Frances is very well now. I myself feel very well today and we are having a very fine Sunday, and every advantage of the services of a very good preacher – Rev. Wynne Thomas (Aberystwyth). The morning text was Mark, 14th chapter, 3 to 9 verses – Mary breaking a box of ointment and it was to be spoken after throughout the whole world. I enjoyed it very much the old gospel, but ever new.

Our School no. 94 – I shall hope to see you all before very long if it be the Lord’s will. Poor Vaughan is not so well today. Write a letter to comfort him, you may say some nice things to him and they will comfort him very much, and we all pray that the Lord may spare him for years yet. I have not much news to tell you this time. Tell J.M & Lona about us all. Give our very best love to David. Mamma is going to Chapel tonight. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann that you have been able to spend this Sabbath day with some amount of Holy Joy.

So no more at present from your dear Father & Mother & Frances.
