Dear Mamma, Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

I write these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us at present. Maggie is here with Frances and they are very happy. They were singing away when I left them. Our preacher is Mr Stone from Aberystwyth. Mr David Owen of London is at home today. He looks well. He said that he had not seen Johnny for 2 years, who should he see but Johnny in Baker Street, but no time or chance to speak to him. He looked very well.

Our School was 84 today. The text this morning was Matthew, 25th chapter, 14 & 15 verses. Talents was the subject. I was in Vaughan Owen’s class and I had a grand time of it. Remember that I was teacher, we had a good time of it. I mean that our souls were all blessed. I hope dear family that you are enjoying this Sabbath day to the glory of God. May he bless you. Nain is coming away. The dear little children will be ? I know. Frances is quite well, so no more at present. Dear children may God be with you till we meet again.

Best love to David.
