Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we are pretty well at present. We have had very hard weather here. I daresay it as been the same with you. The wind has been very cold. We have had a heavy fall of snow. Our school no. was 82. Our preacher is a young man from Aberystwyth College, a very good one. The text was Matthew 4th chapter, 19 verse – ‘and he sayeth unto them follow me, that is the fishermen’, and he said a good deal about Christ calling men to serve him and showing unto us how we are to listen to his voice calling upon us to follow him.

Glad to say that Mr V Owen is much better today. He was so pleased that you so kindly think of him and he remembers to you very much. We are spending a pretty happy Sunday. Hoping that you dear Lizzie Ann are able with the little children, doing as well as you can. May God bless you and be with you all. Amen. With our very best love to David, J.M. & Lona. Tell them about Taid and Nain and Frances.

With our very best love to you all.

From Father, Mother & Frances
