Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona
We take the pleasure of writing these few line to you, hoping dear Lizzie Ann that you and David and the children are quite well and that John Morris's cold is better.
We are having a very happy day in Chapel. R. Owen (Welshpool) is our preacher and you know that he is always very good. His text was Hebrews, 12th chapter, 22, 23, 24th verses - you know it speaks of the great company of angels. We had a very nice thing last Sunday at the Evening Service. A Miss Reen (servant with Mrs Jones - Cambrian House), she repeated 14th chapter St John. I never heard anything like it before at the opening of the service. Our School today is 75 in number. I enjoyed myself very much in the class.
Frances was successful in Pennal for 15/s prize. She sang 'The Holy City'. So I have not much more to tell you today. Mamma and Frances are pretty well. Tell the dear little children about us. May the blessing of God be with you all. Amen. So no more at present.
With very best love to you all and children. X X X
Excuse my scribble - going to Chapel.
