Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping to find you all in good health as it leaves us at present. It has been very rough weather here of late. Is dear little Lona’s heel better? Hope that it is nearly mended by now. Give our very best love to John Maurice and Lona. Tell them about us. Our School was 78 in number. Our Preacher today is a student from Aberystwyth. I enjoyed the sermon very much – Luke, 23rd chapter, 42 and 43 verses – ‘Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom’, and the answer was today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

He made one remark, it was when Christ began to be sorrowful, all the harps in Heaven stopped and he said many other things which were very good. Our School meeting is next Sunday. You know it is a very busy day questioning the children and Intermediates, and adults sermon at night – Father of Heaven whose love profound, a ransom for our souls have found, before thy throne we sinners bend, to us thy pardoning love extend.

So no more at present to you.

From your dear Father & Mother & Sister.

X X X children, Frances.

Best love to you all
