Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona

We take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we both are pretty well at present. Frances has not returned yet, she must be having a good time of it in Welshpool we should think dear Lizzie Ann. Our School numbered 90 today. The Preacher is Mr Williams. The text was first Epistle of John, 5th chapter, 11 & 12 verses – eternal life in Christ.

It is raining here now. We are trying to spend a quiet Sabbath day as happy as we can. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann that you are doing the same. May the blessing of God be with you all as a family, and his care and protection over you. Tell dear J M about us. We hope to see him before long.

So we conclude with our dearest love to you all.

M & E Lewis
