Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM and Lona

We take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that they will find all in good health as it leaves us all at present. Dear Lizzie Ann I was so glad that you went to that Temperance Meeting. I said to Miss Edwards about you that she could find you through Mrs Roberts as she was going to stay there. I am so glad you saw her. I was so glad to receive your letter and to see about JM babbling, dear little boy, I had much pleasure in teaching to walk a little. Tell him about us.

Frances went to Welshpool on Thursday to a singing festival and she is stopping at Aunty Barnetts over today and then going to Leighton for a day or two. She is enjoying herself very much. It was a very large festival, it contained from Shrewsbury - Oswestry, up to Llanidloes of all the English churches. It was a monster gathering. David Jenkins was the Conductor and he saw Frances in the crowd of singers and he called her by name to come to the front. I am sure she was a little bashful.

Our preacher today is Mr Hobley (Carnarvon) a very good one. This morning text was St John, 3rd chapter, 5th verse, Nicodemus asking how can a man be born again. It was a very nice sermon. The preacher is such an old fashioned one. The Sunday school was 89 today. It is very fine and pleasant here and we have every advantage to worship God this day. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann that your Sabbath is a day of rest in the Lord. May be bless you all. Amen. Best love Father & Mother.
