Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM and Lona
I take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping they find you quite well as it leaves us all pretty well at present. Dear Lizzie Ann we are very pleased to see that you are thinking of coming to see us soon. We should like to see you all. We hope you will come and we will do our best to make you happy.
Dear Lizzie Ann our school was 99 today. Mr Williams is our preacher today. The text was Matthew, 5th chapter & 6th verse - 'pleased are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled, may this be our two great desires'. I enclose you a programme of the Railway Concert on Friday night last. It was a very large one. We are singing an anthem tonight in the service, and there are two solos in it which Frances takes. I have not much news to tell you this time. Dear Lizzie Ann I hope that you are all enjoying the heat and calm of this Sabbath day. May the blessing of God be with you all. Amen.
With best love from us all
Dada, Mamma, Frances.
Give these kisses for the dear children, hoping to see them soon.
