Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM and Lona
We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping to find you all in good health as it leaves us at present, excepting Frances. She is not very well today. She is stopping in bed all day with bad throat and headache, but nothing serious.
We are having a very fine Sunday today. Weather is very nice. Hoping that you are all enjoying a fine day. Our preacher is Mr Williams. The morning text was 2nd book of Kings, 14th chapter, 13th verse. He made a few remarks that he had been with us 5 years today - his first sermon he preached to us, and he was wondering if we had our best to help him, that was a question for our consciences to answer. There was a little good found in Abijah; the son of Rehoboam.
James Rees and David Morgan wished to be kindly remembered to you all. Nain is down at Machynlleth now, at any rate she was down on Friday and Saturday. Frances was at Llandiloes last Wednesday competing but she did have only much praise but there was not much profit in that. We have not much news to tell you today. Tell JM about us all, dear little fellow, and Lona. May the blessing of God be with you all. Amen. So we conclude with our very best love to you all.
From dear Father & Mother & Frances. X X X
