Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Maglona
We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as it leaves us all pretty well at present. We have a very pleasant Sunday here. Our preacher was Mr John Griffith Jones, you know him from a little boy but he's coming a very nice preacher. His text this morning was the 27 Psalm - 'one thing have I desired of the Lord that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in his Temple' and it was a very nice sermon. If you were to hear him you would be surprised. Also we had at 2 o'clock Dr Griffiths of Khasia Hills addressing us on that Great Mission. I don't know has he been in Birmingham. I think he will go every where before he goes back to India. It was very enjoyable indeed.
Dear Lizzie Ann tell J.M about us all dear little boy. I should like to see him. I pray every day for God's protection, care and grace and His rich blessing on you all. Dear Lizzie Ann it has been very hard frost here Friday and Saturday night but it is thawing now. We have had a monthly meeting here Thursday and Friday. Mr Lloyd Jones and D.T. Jones of Rhyl were the two greatest preachers. Tell David that poor old Wm. Evans Llanbrymair had the privilege of preaching on Friday at 2 o'clock.
Dear Lizzie Ann I have not much news to tell you this time. May God bless you and your dear little family.
This is from your Dear Father & Mother & Frances Lewis.
