Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Maglona

We are taking the pleasure of writing these few lines to you, hoping that you are all quite well as it leave us at present. Mamma is pretty well these days and Frances is a good deal better now that what she has been. We have a very good preacher today - a Rev. Wynn Thomas (Aberystwyth). He read the 145 psalm and the text was 1st Epistle to Corinthians, 13 chapter, verse 5 and it was a very beautiful sermon. He is such a good preacher.

Frances was singing before the Marchioness at the Sale of Work in the Vane Hall on Thursday afternoon, and also the same night she went to Sion [Calv chapel in] Llanwrin to assist in a Concert there, and on Saturday in the station at 5.30 in a presentation to Dr Williams by the Ambulance class. So you see that she has been busy.

Remember me to J.M., say 'dada, nain and hai'. It is a very pleasant Sunday here today and there is nothing fresh. The Sale of Work that was in the Vane Hall was to the benefit of Barnardos Homes and they made 47 pounds. Church and Chapel were joined together. So we have no more to tell you now. Our very best love to David and you all.

May the peace of God be with you all. Amen.
