Dear Lizzie Ann

I now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are quite well and baby and Johnny and David, as we are pretty well hear now. It is a very heavy day today and raining a little. Frances is in Aberystwyth with her training. Wilfred Jones has expressed himself very much surprised at the wonderful voice she has and we hope that this term will do much good to her. It's very likely that there has not appeared in Machynlleth such a Soprano, for she is quite a marvel to all that have heard her. I hope it will pay us back soon for there is a little extra spending.

Dear Lizzie Ann our old Rev. friend is preaching for us today - D.Jones (Cardiff) - text Ephesians, 4th chapter, 21st verse and he was very nice. My dear child I hope that you are enjoying much of the joy of a Christian and also Johnny. I do hope that he will make a mark for good in London, and that with the good talent God has given him he will use it for his Glory.

So I have not much news to tell you now. May the love of Christ keep your hearts and minds. Amen.

from your dear Father and Mother

M & E Lewis also from Frances.
