Corris (click on photograph to bring up bigger/better version).

corris Corris No.7 at Corris Station. This is a brand-new locomotive completed in 2005, with a design based on that of the original loco No.4.
corris Here you can see the carriages. It's only a short ride up the line, but there are plans to extend it further down the valley. Unfortunately, it won't ever be possible to reach Machynlleth again, as houses have been built across the track and there's the little matter of replacing the bridge across the Dyfi that was washed away in 1948.
corris At Maespoeth, outside the sheds. Much renovation is taking place here, with new customer toilets already built and carriage sheds due next to be provided.
corris On the way back up the valley to Corris. There's no runaround, so the engine has to push from behind. However, this gives passengers a chance to see directly down the track from the front carriage.
