Corris No.7 at Corris Station. This is a brand-new locomotive
completed in 2005, with a design based on that of the original loco No.4. |

Here you can see the carriages. It's only a short ride up the line,
but there are plans to extend it further down the valley. Unfortunately, it
won't ever be possible to reach Machynlleth again, as houses have been built
across the track and there's the little matter of replacing the bridge across
the Dyfi that was washed away in 1948. |

At Maespoeth, outside the sheds. Much renovation is taking place
here, with new customer toilets already built and carriage sheds due next to be
provided. |

On the way back up the valley to Corris. There's no runaround, so
the engine has to push from behind. However, this gives passengers a chance to
see directly down the track from the front carriage. |
